Last week David told you about how James Madison University royally fucked up punishment for a sexual assault case. Three frat guys, who were found responsible by the school of sexually assaulting a fellow student then sharing a video of the crime, were punished with “expulsion after graduation.” Pathetic, Duke Dog.
Last night John Stewart came out swinging on The Daily Show with a segment on the crimes, along with a bigger discussion about sexual assault on college campus. His line of “Woah! Even the classy Virginia safety school isn’t safe.” will get some chuckles from those who want to ball-bust their friends at JMU, but the message is clear: This is a national problem on all college campuses.
