This State Wants To Make Free College Tuition A Reality


College is expensive. Stupidly expensive, sending 20-somethings into crippling debt that takes decades to pay off. Speaking in broad brush strokes, the government currently doesn’t do a whole lot to alleviate the debt burden for student loans.

Last week New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo introduced a plan to help lower and middle-income New Yorkers with tuition at the State’s public SUNY college system.

That sounds all peaches and cherries in theory, but it’s worth noting there are some concerns being voiced about the plan in New York state. That
