Jason Scoop, a stand-up comedian and impersonator of President Trump, shared a video of him confronting actor Alec Baldwin as the 30 Rock star was removing luggage from an SUV in NYC. Scoop then proceeds to harass Baldwin while offering “a total pardon for murdering that woman” while demanding that Alec Baldwin kiss his ring.

The impersonator shared a video of the altercation that went sideways with the caption “Alec Baldwin loves me” which is patently false because Baldwin at one point says “if there wasn’t a camera here I’d snap your f—— neck.” Somehow, that was the moment the Trump impersonator seemed to recognize he possibly crossed the line, a line that was crossed the moment he walked up and started harassing a stranger on the street.

The video has since gone viral on X (née Twitter) and sadly, because people who pay for Twitter’s replies are amplified, it’s impossible to see any of the good replies to the video and it’s crowded with people claiming this was funny…

The same video is also up on YouTube:

Does it really need to be said that if you walk up and harass someone on the street you deserve whatever happens next? The comedian is lucky the camera was on because from Baldwin’s perspective, he was unloading luggage and some complete stranger, a possible lunatic, approached him pretending to be the president and ranting/raving about Baldwin committing murder and wanting to grant a pardon.

Millions of people have no love for Alec Baldwin after the Rust shooting but this is just an insane way to act in public. This isn’t a Q&A, it’s not a roast. This is Alec coming back from some sort of a trip, getting out of a taxi, and being blindsided by a total weirdo on the street.

You don’t have to have lived in NYC to recognize that it’s a ‘live and let live’ city and getting into a stranger’s face while acting like a lunatic is a very quick way to get yourself hurt. So again, this comedian is lucky Alec Baldwin showed some restraint.
