Disgraced actor Armie Hammer has begun 2025 by trying to launch a comeback, as he’s been appearing on numerous podcasts and signing onto to various B-movies. His latest comments saw the Call Me By Your Name actor admit to taking a bite out of an animal’s heart while on a hunting trip.

During an appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast — remember the “My money don’t jiggle jiggle — it folds” guy? That’s Louis Theroux — Armie Hammer detailed the experience he once had on a hunting trip with friends where in he took out a bite of an animal’s heart.

Hammer said that it was not to fulfill any cannibalistic or sexual desires but was instead a rite of passage in the hunting world.

“No, you don’t eat the whole heart. One of the traditions is you take a bite out of the heart,” Hammer explained. “You’ve got all your buddies around you, they’re goading you on… [It was] not for the purpose of any cannibalism or any sexual gratification.”

In that same interview with Theroux, Hammer addressed the cannibalistic messages he sent women, including one that said “I am 100% a cannibal.”

“I think the, most important context to give these kinds of things is they are one side of a conversation… Did I ever have any intention of cutting anything off of anyone or eating anything off of anyone? No.”

In recent months, Hammer has rebooted his Hollywood career, which had been dormant since 2022’s Death on the Nile (which was actually filmed in 2019). Hammer has signed on to star in the films Frontier Crucible and The Dark Knight.

Before crashing out of Hollywood due to allegations of sexual misconduct, Hammer was known for his work in films such as The Social Network, The Lone Ranger, Call Me By Your Name, and more.
