Earlier this month, it was reported that actor and director Ben Affleck had been spotted and is involved with Kick Kennedy, the daughter of controversial brain-worm-having politician Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Ben Affleck’s team, however, have since denied those rumors, saying that there is “no truth” to them.

Speaking to People — who previously reported that Affleck had been “spending time” with Kick, potentially even since the Spring — Affleck’s rep Jen Allen said: “There is no truth to any of it. I don’t know if they even know each other.”

According to the New York Post, however, Affleck and Kennedy first began hanging out years ago, before the actor started dating Ana de Armas, who was his girlfriend prior to reuniting with Jennifer Lopez.

“Their friendship has been going on for a while, even before Ana,” an alleged Hollywood insider told The Post’s Page Six “When Ben started seeing Ana in 2020 and chose to quarantine with her during Covid, Kick was less than thrilled.”

Given that Affleck and Lopez did not sign a prenuptial agreement, however, it should perhaps come as no surprise that Affleck’s team is trying to squash any suggestions of adultery as it would put the Oscar winner in a precarious position when it comes to the distribution of the couple’s assets.

Affleck and Lopez, who got married in Las Vegas in July of 2022, officially filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. The couple famously dated in the early 2000s, spawning the nickname “Bennifer.”

Kick’s father Robert F. Kennedy recently made headlines for suspending his Presidential campaign and endorsing Republican nominee and 34-time (for now) convicted felon Donald Trump despite previously saying that Trump is a “sociopath” and “bully.”
