Just over a month before he was killed in a shooting in Utah, podcaster Charlie Kirk was featured in the episode of South Park titled “Got a Nut,” the second episode of its 27th season. The infamous Eric Cartman character was the stand-in for Kirk, which he said was “hilarious.”
Episodes of South Park are often re-aired on Comedy Central, and on September 10, 2025, following Kirk’s assassination earlier that day, the network pulled the Kirk-mocking episode from its cable broadcast schedule.
According to Andrew Kolvet, a producer on The Charlie Kirk Show, the late conservative commenter would have wanted the episode in which he’s featured, “Got a Nut,” to stay on the air.
Kolvet says that Kirk, who temporarily changed his Twitter profile picture to the Cartman-ized version of himself, “loved” that he was featured on the iconic long-running comedy series.

“As someone who can speak with some authority on this, Charlie loved that he was featured in South Park. He told me many times. He would want the episode back up,” Kolvet tweeted.
While Kolvet tagged Paramount Plus in his request, the episode “Got a Nut” remains available to watch on the platform at the time of this writing and does not appear to have been taken down from the streaming service at any stage — only the cable rotation.

Earlier this week, South Park announced that it would not be airing an episode on Wednesday, September 17 as a result of missing their deadline, with the production claiming it to be a consequence of them producing their episodes in just under a week’s time.
