Disgraced rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly tried to use his sordid, now-infamous “Diddy parties” to social climb all the way to the Royal Family.
According to reports from a former publicist who worked for Diddy, the 54-year-old was “obsessed with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and William, Prince of Wales to such an extent that he invited them to his parties multiple times.
Rob Shuter, the publicist who provided this alleged information, also said that Diddy allegedly had framed photos of the Royal Family brothers in his New York City home.
“Diddy was obsessed with Prince Harry and Prince William. He thinks of himself as a king, so it makes perfect sense that he would like to have two princes in his entourage,” Diddy’s former publicist Rob Shuter said told the BBC, saying he tried to invite them to his parties “more than ten times.”
“[They] never accepted [the invites], they were never part of his world,” Shuter said.
Given the relationship that British Royal Family member Prince Andrew, Duke of York had with convicted sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, Diddy’s attempts to connect with the Royal Family are certainly eyebrow-raising.
Earlier this week, it was reported that a new lawsuit against Diddy alleges that he spiked the baby oil found at his home with the date r— drug Rohypnol or GHB to incapacitate his victims.
Diddy was arrested on September 16 in a New York City hotel by Department of Homeland Security Agents on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Following his arrest, feds accused the Bad Boy Records mogul of “decades of emotional, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse of his victims.
If convicted on the aforementioned charges, Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum life in jail. Diddy pled not guilty to the charges and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, until his trial after being denied bail.
