One Florida woman was welcomed by an unpleasant surprise when she opened up her Wingstop to-go container. Her viral video on the matter serves as a reminder to always inspect your food before taking a bite.
TikTok creator Skylar Starkey (@skylar.starkeyyy) ordered hot honey boneless wings online. There was nothing out of the ordinary about the initial appearance of her wings. But the inside showed telltale signs the meat was undercooked. Every wing had a pink inside, her video shows.
“Reminder to check your Wingstop to make sure it’s cooked all the way,” the content creator advises in the text overlay.
Starkey tagged the wing chain in the caption. She said, “@Wingstop hey I like yalls food but this is not cool.”
Starkey joins the ranks of other TikTokers who have discovered unwanted surprises in their Wingstop orders. In August, one woman spotted feathers (or filaments) before digging into her buffalo wings. Although they’re harmless, it can still be a nauseating sight. Previously, another woman had noticed what she believed to be mold growing on the soda fountain inside her Dallas location.
‘Go Get That Bag Girl’
The video has amassed 9.5 million views. Many in the comments section encouraged Starkey to take legal action.
“You rich that’s a heavy lawsuit right there,” one viewer commented.
“Lawsuit coming when??” a second asked.
“Go get that bag girl,” a third stated.

Can She Take Legal Action?
According to RTRLAW, if customers can prove—through receipts, medical documentation, and a photo or video—they contracted food poisoning as a result of the raw food served to them, they “may have the right to hold [the business] legally accountable.”
Signs Of Food Poisoning
Most people who contract foodborne illnesses recover with no problems. However, Mayo Clinic urges those whose symptoms—fever, dehydration, frequent vomiting, mood or behavior changes, and diarrhea—last more than three days to seek medical attention.
