History is filled with inventions that permanently altered the trajectory of human civilization, like the wheel, the airplane, the internet, and similarly revolutionary advancements that ushered in a new age and made people wonder how we possibly lived without them.
Now, I could be getting ahead of myself here, but I’m pretty sure we’ve just witnessed the unveiling of one of those innovations, as it’s hard to imagine the planet will ever be the same after the introduction of the truly game-changing product that Hormel has unleashed on an unsuspecting world: a keg filled with hundreds of servings of chili cheese.

According to The Takeout, the chili company joined forces with the team of visionaries responsible for the creation of a “proprietary adjustable internal heating element” that keeps the contents of the keg at the perfect temperature so the chili cheese can be dispensed through a pump designed for “optimal pouring” at a moment’s notice.
While I can imagine plenty of people would jump at the chance to pay any price to secure—and I cannot stress this enough—a keg filled with close to three hundred servings of chili cheese, it would appear Hormel opted to limit production to a single device.
