Well, it happened again. A little kid climbed into a claw machine arcade game and got stuck. This time it happened at a community center in Ohio.

Security video from the Mason Community Center in Ohio shows both the moment that the young boy got into the claw machine as well as his eventual rescue from the machine by local police and EMS.

In the video, the youngster can be seen walking towards the arcade game. He then stoops down to take a look into the chute where the prizes are released. Knowing the goodies that were on the other side of the little door in the chute, the boy then crawls inside headfirst to fetch himself a toy.

More than one person passed by while the boy was attempting to gain entrance into the claw machine. It wasn’t until a man walked past and saw the boy’s legs sticking out of the chute before anyone was alerted to the developing situation.

Once inside the claw machine, the child’s mom attempted to get him to come back out, but instead he handed her a stuffed animal and could be seen standing up inside the game. Someone is then seen unplugging the claw machine and wheeling it into a store nearby, closing the shop’s gate so they could work to extricate the boy in privacy.

The video then shows numerous members of the Mason Police Department and Mason Fire Department at the scene. They were eventually able to free the boy by removing a panel on the back of the machine.

According to WCPO News, a police report confirmed the boy suffered no injuries in the ordeal. The New York Post reports that the claw machine was also not damaged and was put back into operation later that day, ready to capture another small child at some point in the future.

If only the boy’s mom would have known about a Michigan woman’s simple trick to winning a prize every time when using a claw machine, perhaps none of this would have happened. Then again, maybe not.
