Trailer For HBO’s ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Released, Brings New Tone And Style To The ‘GoT’ Universe

The first trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the latest HBO series set in the Game of Thrones universe, has been released. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on January 18, 2026.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the third show based on George R.R. Martin’s work that HBO has produced following Game of Thrones (an adaption of his fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire), and House of the Dragon, which is currently in between its second and third seasons.

The series, which premieres in January and will consist of six, roughly 30-minute long episodes, is set about 100 years after House of the Dragon (technically 72) and 100 years before Game of Thrones and is an adaptation of the Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas by Martin.
