Kristi Noem, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security, has responded to her portrayal in the latest episode of South Park. Noem has heavily featured in season 27, episode 2, “Got A Nut.”
In “Got A Nut,” South Park depicted Kristi Noem as having a face with a mind of its own, as it’s constantly drooping off of her until it eventually comes off her skull entirely and scurries around Mar-A-Lago like a facehugger in Alien.
Noem is just the latest member of the current administration to be featured in the latest season of South Park, with Republican figures such as Donald Trump, JD Vance and Marjorie Taylor Greene (albeit in the background) also being featured in this newest batch of episodes.
Kristi Noem responds to her brutal, face-melting portrayal in South Park season 27, episode 2 – “Got A Nut”
Appearing on The Glenn Beck Program on Thursday, August 7, Noem responded to her South Park debut and said that “only liberals and extremists” make fun of a woman’s apperance. In addition to gags about her looks, South Park also ripped on the fact that Noem admitted to shooting her dog by having her assassinate multiple puppies throughout the episode.
“It’s so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. It’s only the liberals and the extremists who do that,” Noem said. “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t.”

Noem’s assertion that “only liberals” who mock females appearances is certainly ironic considering her boss, President Donald Trump, has become notorious for doing that very thing over the decades. Here are just a few examples below:
-Angelina Jolie (2007): “She’s not a great beauty by any stretch of the imagination.”
-Gail Collins (2011): The NYT columnist wrote that Trump mailed her a column with her photo circled and “The Face of a Dog!” scrawled on it.
-Arianna Huffington (2012): Tweeted she is “unattractive both inside and out,” adding a jab about her former husband.
-Bette Midler (2012): Tweeted, “While @BetteMidler is an extremely unattractive woman…”
-Cher (2012): Tweeted, “I promise not to talk about your massive plastic surgeries that didn’t work.”
-Heidi Klum (Aug. 2015): Said she’s “no longer a 10.”
-Rosie O’Donnell (2015): After Megyn Kelly noted he’d called women “fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals,” he replied onstage: “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”
-Carly Fiorina (2015): “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?” (reported from a Rolling Stone interview).
-Megyn Kelly (2015): Repeatedly amplified posts calling her a “bimbo.”
-Alicia Machado (2016): The former Miss Universe said he called her “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping”; he publicly doubled down that week.
-Heidi Cruz (2016): Posted an unflattering side-by-side of Heidi vs. Melania with the line “A picture is worth a thousand words.”
-Mika Brzezinski (2017): Claimed she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” in a tweet.
-Stormy Daniels (2018): Called her “horseface” in a celebratory tweet about a court ruling.
-E. Jean Carroll (2019): Dismissing her allegation, he said she was “not my type,” framing his denial around her looks.
-Nancy Pelosi (2019): Claimed her “teeth were falling out of her mouth.”
In addition to Noem, Trump also appeared in “Got A Nut” in photorealistic form, while Vice President JD Vance was also brutally lampooned in his South Park debut.
The third episode of South Park‘s 27th season is set to air on Comedy Central on Wednesday, August 14, at 10 p.m. EST.
