Livvy Dunne, who is dating All-Star Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, has said she looks to Taylor Swift for how to deal with dating a high-profile athlete. Swift, of course, is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Dunne, who was a stay gymnast at LSU before becoming a full-time model and influencer, has been in a relationship with Skenes since college, where he was also an LSU athlete.
During a recent interview with Page Six, the 22-year-old Dunne said that she’s looking to the pop star for how to manage being in a relationship with a superstar athlete.

“[Taylor] has her boyfriend that’s a professional athlete and my boyfriend is a professional athlete as well. And she has her own success and I have my own success, so I try to look at her perspective on things and how she handles criticism, how she navigates… Being with a professional athlete in itself is difficult because they’re always traveling,” Dunne said.
“I think that she takes the heat a lot worse than I do, because, I mean, the bigger you are, the more people you have trying to tear you down. It just really resonated with me. It’s a unique position to be in. And I think for some people, women in sports is uncomfortable for some reason.”
Looking to follow Swift’s path is a wise move from Dunne as she seeks to turn herself in a business just like Swift has done. The problem that Dunne faces, however, is that while Kelce is clearly game for the media machine, Skenes has the charisma of a cheese-grader
