Matthew McConaughey is the positivity we all need in the world right now. He’s out here giving pep talks, and surprising the elderly at a senior living facility during their weekly virtual BINGO game.
The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living facility is located just outside of Austin, Texas where Matthew McConaughey calls home. It’s also where he’s a professor at the University of Texas-Austin before the shit hit the fan.
The facility posted this clip of McConaughey on Sunday with the caption: “Thank you to Matthew, his wife Camila, and his mom Kay for hosting our residents for a few rounds of virtual bingo!” the facility posted on Facebook on Sunday. “Our residents had a great time playing, and they loved talking with Matthew about his family heritage and his favorite drink.”
Seniors are particularly vulnerable to the global health crisis and this has forced a lot of senior centers to take extra measures and isolate their residents. A warm and welcome face like Matthew McConaughey’s must’ve meant the world to these BINGO players. Here he is in action:

Sure, it’s not a game you want to play every night of the year but I’d play the shit out of some BINGO tonight if anyone got a game together, and I’d pay to play if it meant Matthew McConaughey was our guest announcer.
