Almost two decades ago, one of the most infamous UFO and alien incidents occurred in Varginha, Brazil. It is often referred to as “Brazil’s Roswell,” in reference to the 1947 UFO incident that happened in the United States.
“The Varginha Incident,” as it has also become known, involved three women who reported encountering an alien approximately 5 feet in height with a large head, large red eyes, a thin body with oily brown skin, and V-shaped feet. In the days that followed, another alien-like creature was found lying on the side of a road in the town. The creature, according to witnesses, was reportedly picked up by three military vehicles and taken to a clinic for examination. Farmer in the area also claimed to have witnessed a UFO hovering over their cattle for 40 minutes.
Filmmaker James Fox visited Varginha to interview eyewitnesses, experts, and officials for a documentary about the alien incident titled Moment of Contact. This week, he spoke to NewsNation’s Reality Check host Ross Coulthart in an hour-long interview about some of what he learned while making the film.
A neurosurgeon who encountered the alien in Varginha comes forward
During the interview, Fox said he spoke to a neurosurgeon who claimed to have literally touched and telepathically communicated with what he testified was a live alien being. The doctor said this occurred while it was being held in captivity by Brazilians. He also claims the alien was later handed over to the United States military.
“I went to school in São Paulo for neurology and neurosurgery,” the doctor told Fox in an on-camera interview. “I have done more than five thousand surgeries. I want to share this message that I really saw it!
“I went in to see a patient, and it was not a patient. It was really an alien. Clearly an alien. Cranium shaped like a teardrop, eyes shaped like a teardrop. I went to see the patient, thinking it was a human, and I saw there a magnificent being from a world unknown to me.
“I wondered if he was suffering. He was not. If he was cognizant, he was very calm, very tranquil. Like it understood what I was thinking, entirely.”
James Fox goes on to explain that the doctor explained to him what it was like to look into the creature’s eyes. Fox said the doctor told him that “it was a higher level of intelligence. So much higher, more advanced. Even though that it was in captivity, it had control of the room.”
Fox also, in the course of creating his film, spoke to Dr. Eric Davis, a neurosurgeon who claimed he too has telepathically communicated with a live alien being.
“If the President of the United States issued an executive order that absolves me of all of my TSSCI [Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information] NDAs — NDAs are non-disclosure agreements, those are the agreements we have we have to sign for every compartment in our SCI clearances,” said Davis.
“So, if the president waives or absolves my obligation to those NDAs, and I get subpoenaed by Congress — somebody on Capitol Hill, some committee either in the Senate or the House or the both — to reveal everything that I know that I learned from my investigations, both unclassified and classified, into the legacy UAP crash retrieval and hardware reverse engineering and NHI programs, I would do so. “If I could be waived from that or absolved in some fashion by Presidential order, and if Congress subpoenas me, yes, I would go and tell them everything I know.”
