A lot of people made the trek to Arizona to attend Charlie Kirk’s memorial. Last week, Kirk was killed when he was shot at an event in Utah.
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” President Trump announced on social media. “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika and family. Charlie, we love you!”
On Sunday, a memorial service for the Turning Point USA founder was held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
Speakers at the memorial service include President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk.
According to Fox News, over 70,000 people were packed in State Farm Stadium, forcing organizers to send 20,000 to nearby Desert Diamond Arena to accommodate everyone.
