Wild footage circulating social media shows the moment a small plane crash landed on a golf course in Australia. Details about that incident are now becoming available.

Bystanders captured the plane crash on video after seeing it approach the golf course at low altitude. Many rushed into action upon seeing the emergency landing near one of the greens.
“The plane came in really low over the top of our heads, and there was no propeller movement,” said Callum Nicholls, a member of the Mona Vale Golf Club.
“It didn’t even sound like an engine was on… We were sort of first on the scene. My girlfriend’s a doctor and gave them medical attention. They were both okay. One had slight lacerations to the side of his face.
“We were a bit shocked, but we were kind of stoked we couldn’t finish our round because we weren’t playing great.”

Who was flying the plane?
There were two 50-year-old men in the plane, one of which was in training. Flight records show the trip started in Camden was expected to end in Wollongong.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau confirmed that there was both a student and instructor on board. Those pilots miraculously suffered only minor injuries.
They were transported to the hospital in stable condition after exiting the plane and being treated by paramedics.
The pilot deserves credit for successfully maneuvering the plane for the crash landing. Not only did he safely get it to the ground, but he avoided golfers on the course, too.
Thankfully, there was a happy ending to the emergency landing. It was the best-case scenario. It provided golfers with an unexpected story to tell about their day on the links.
