‘Pluribus’: First Mysterious Trailer For The New Series From The ‘Breaking Bad’ Creator Released

AppleTV+

The first official teaser for Pluribus, the latest project from acclaimed Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, has been released. Pluribus will premiere on AppleTV+ on November 7.

The marketing for Pluribus thus far has been extremely esoteric and vague thus far, and this latest teaser trailer certainly continues that trend. This teaser, however, does include dialogue from the series — which is a first.

While an official synopsis has also yet to be released, the official description from AppleTV+ and Sony Pictures Television says Pluribus ““is a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.”

Pluribus is set to stat Rhea Seehorn, who earned two Emmy Award nominations for Best Actress for her performance as Kim Wexler in Gilligan’s previous show, the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul.

In the teaser trailer, Seehorn’s character Carol is seen talking directly with someone at the White House, possibly the President of the United States, telling her to “join us.”

The teaser is also intercut with random scenes from the series, such as Carol looking into the sky, being offered a bottle of water, throwing a room service meal in the garbage, driving a cop car, standing outside of a hospital as everyone else walks toward a flashing light, and more.

In addition to Seehorn, Pluribus is also set to star Karolina Wydra, Carlos Manuel Vesga, Miriam Shor, Samba Schutte, and Peter Bergman.
