Sandra Bullock Trends After ‘The Blind Side’ Controversy Goes Viral

Actress Sandra Bullock is trending on social media after ‘The Blind Side’ controversy has gone viral.

On Monday, former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher filed a lawsuit against the Tuohy family, claiming they lied about his adoption story that was turned into the blockbuster movie “The Blind Side.”

In the lawsuit, Oher claims that the Tuohy family tricked him into signing a conservatorship that allowed them to make millions of dollars in royalties from the movie while he got nothing.

“The lie of Michael’s adoption is one upon which Co-Conservators Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy have enriched themselves at the expense of their Ward, the undersigned Michael Oher,” the petition reads. “Michael Oher discovered this lie to his chagrin and embarrassment in February of 2023, when he learned that the Conservatorship to which he consented on the basis that doing so would make him a member of the Tuohy family, in fact provided him no familial relationship with the Tuohys.”

After Oher’s allegations went public, fans of the movie were angry that they were tricked by the Tuohys.

Bullock, who portrayed matriarch Leigh Anne Tuohy in the movie, began trending on social media, but some of her fans are defending her from criticism.
