South Park followed up its historic season 27 premiere with the second episode of the season on Wednesday, August 6, titled “Got A Nut.” And similar to the previous episode, “Sermon on the ‘Mount,” the long-running comedy series didn’t pull any punches, particularly in its portrayal of Vice President JD Vance.
Last week, South Park — which long resisted truly diving into Donald Trump-related comedy, instead having the Mrs. Garrison character stand in for him — gave Trump the Saddam Hussein treatment, as they gave him a photorealistic face instead of an animated one, and put him in a homosexual relationship with Satan, a move they reserved for the infamous Iraqi dictator some 20-odd years ago.

In “Got A Nut,” Vance makes his South Park debut and is arguably portrayed in a more embarrassing light than Trump, as he’s also given a photorealistic face — one using the memes of Vance and not his actual face — in addition to being turned into a baby and given a gruff childish voice.
Furthermore, Trump kicks him around like Jack Black did to Ron Burgundy’s dog in Anchorman, while Vance is also given lines such as “Would you like me to apply baby oil to Satan’s a–hole, boss?”

In addition to mocking Vance, Trump, and Kristi Noem, the latest episode of South Park pictured Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort as being entirely populated by just two kinds of people: geriatric elderly people and suspiciously young-looking female employees (the women are given bigger eyes than the adult characters, which is a technique that the series has been using to depict a younger age for decades).

ICE — depicted as raiding a live Dora the Explorer show and heaven itself — the online ecosystem of right-wing podcasting, and staged political debates on YouTube also found themselves being lampooned in “Got A Nut,” with Cartman taking on the role of Charlie Kirk. Similar to Kirk, JD Vance responded to his portrayal on South Park by trying to act like it’s an honor.
