One of the undeniable perks of living in the U.S. is how easy it is to get anything delivered straight to your door.
Want 70,000 lollipops? Amazon will show up with 22 cases of it, no problem. Have bears in your yard? An Amazon driver will still bring your order—maybe even chase the bear off while doing so.
And if you happen to live in the middle of nowhere, Texas? You’ll still get your delivery. But the driver might have some questions.
‘Can’t Make This Up’
TikTok creator @_atmkenn22 works as an Amazon driver and often shares the weirder sides of the job. In a recent video, which pulled in over 692,600 views, he showed what greeted him at one particular delivery stop.
“I don’t know if this is a f—— joke. I really don’t,” he says at the start of the video. “But I swear, I promise you. I just can’t make this s— up. They literally got me delivered to some b——- like this.”
He then flips the camera to show what he’s looking at: a lone metal shed surrounded by nothing. No neighbors or road signs, just a structure sitting in the middle of a field.
Looking at this home, he asks, “Who the f— live here? ‘Cause I sure the f— wouldn’t.”
Does Amazon Actually Deliver Everywhere In The U.S.?
Mostly, yes. According to Amazon, it offers standard shipping to most residential addresses in the continental U.S.
The company uses a mix of delivery partners for those harder-to-reach places. That means even if your home is at the end of a dirt road in Texas, chances are, you’re still getting that Prime order.
The only real limitations tend to come up with heavy or oversized items, which may not be eligible for shipping to every zip code. The company says on its site there are “special considerations” when shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Mixed Reactions
Some found the video hilarious. Others, not so much.
“Damn. Amazon be sending u everywhere but home on time,” one person joked, likely another employee.
Another added, “300k in today’s market,” referencing the absurdity of the housing market.
“I’m UPS,” someone else wrote. “I’ve delivered to some places that literally looked like it was being held together by prayers.”
But not everyone thought it was funny. “Now friend… you know, there are poor people in the world,” one commenter reminded him.
