The recent reports of mysterious drones being spotted all over America has now spread to countries like Germany. On Sunday, January 12, German authorities reported that nearly a dozen unexplained drones were seen flying near Manching Air Base in Bavaria.

According to Bavarian State Police, “On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at around 7 p.m., the operations center of the Upper Bavaria North Police Headquarters was informed of a drone flight over the military security area in Manching. The police officers deployed read to detect up to ten drones flying over the area. Despite intensive search measures, including the involvement of a police helicopter, the person or persons responsible could not be identified.”

Not only that, Bavarian State Police also reported similar drone sightings on December 16th, December 18th, and December 19th.

“On Monday, December 16, 2024, at around 7:15 p.m., the police received a report from a wio several drones over the airfield in Manching,” Bavarian State Police wrote in a press release. “A search for the suspected pilot was unsuccessful. On the same day, at around 9:45 p.m., the local security service reported another sighting of a drone. Here too, despite an extensive search, no pilot responsible could be identified.”

“On Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at around 6:30 p.m., three drones were again seen over the military security area in Manching. The very next day, Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at around 6:30 a.m., another sighting was made, this time over a military security area in Neuburg an der Donau. Three drones were also seen there, but the search was unsuccessful. On Christmas Day, December 25th, 2024, at around 2:00 a.m., the last drone sighting to date occurred in the military security area of Manching, which is subject to a no-fly zone.”

In December in the United States, airspace over Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio had to be closed due to “small unmanned aerial systems.”

Also in December, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued an alert banning drones from flying over a large portion of New Jersey for “special security reasons.” The ban runs from Dec. 18, 2024 to Jan. 17, 2025.

Similar drone sightings to those in New Jersey and Ohio occurred in San Diego County and other parts of Southern California, as well as in Bowie, Maryland, and over Ramstein Air Base in Germany – headquarters for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and NATO Allied Air Command.

One New Jersey Congressman said he believes the drones that led to the FAA ban were launched by an Iranian “mothership.”

While the Germans wouldn’t go that far, Bavarian State Police did say, “Since it cannot be ruled out that military facilities and arms partners or companies are being spied on in the context of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, extensive search measures were carried out to identify the drone pilots.”

Quite a departure from the non-answers given by the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the FAA, and Department of Defense when it comes to their statements about the drone sightings in America and in the United Kingdom.
