‘How The Bride Let Us Know The Bachelorette Weekend Is CANCELED’: Woman Goes Through Her Fiancé’s Phone Before Her Bachelorette Trip. The Wedding’s Off. The Trip Is Still On

Being cheated on is awful enough. What makes it worse is when the cheating partner is your fiancé, and you’ve already planned the wedding, the bachelorette getaway, and maybe even the honeymoon.

So, what do you do in that situation? A TikTok creator had one idea.

Bride Cancels Wedding, But Not Bachelorette Trip

TikTok creator Kristina (@kristina.chats) stitched an AI-generated clip to tell the cheating story. Her video has already pulled in more than 2.7 million views.

The post begins with Kristina on camera, pulling an “uh-oh” face. The text overlay reads, “How the bride let us know the bachelorette weekend is CANCELED.”

Then the video cuts to an animated dolphin floating underwater. In a robotic voice, it delivers the news: “Hey, girls, the relationship status has quickly gone from engaged to single.”

The AI dolphin described the devastating event that led to this.

“Last night, I went through his phone while he was sleeping and saw him texting his ex,” it said. “So Bachelorette is now going to be a weekend where I’m entering my new single … phase.”

Did This Really Happen?

Looking through Kristina’s other posts, it’s clear she comes up with fictional scenarios and uses an AI generator called Cantina to act them out. Her bio even reads, “Just a girl who loves cantina.” And the dolphin seems to be her go-to character.

However, that doesn’t mean this situation never happens in real life. On Reddit, there are plenty of stories where brides learned about cheating just before their wedding day.

In one thread on r/weddingplanning, a woman explained that just four days before the wedding, she received a call from a woman.

“She told me that she and my fiancé carried on an intimate relationship during our engagement. Screenshots followed,” the user shared. “Needless to say, I’m working with my family today to call guests and vendors and cancel the wedding.”

On r/weddingdrama, another user said her aunt’s groom was caught cheating with the bride’s best friend on the actual wedding day. The bride had long suspected, even finding a condom in his pocket, but had no proof until the very last moment.

And on r/twohottakes, a bride described how she turned her canceled wedding into something else entirely.

“I couldn’t get my money back on the 7-bedroom cabin, so instead my family and closest friends all got together this past weekend,” they wrote. “We did a lot of drinking, talking, went to a hot spring in the middle of the night, and even took a ton of ‘f you’ vibe photos in the ghost town where the ceremony was supposed to be.”

Commenters Loved The Idea

On TikTok, people couldn’t get enough of the “repurpose the trip” angle.

“Cancelled or repurposed?” one user asked.

“She didn’t cancel, she just changed the scope of the event,” another joked.

“The way my excitement would rapidly increase lol,” someone else wrote.

And one person advised, “Start drinking water and hydrating NOW bc y’all gonna have the weekend of a lifetime.”
