Quick, what are your top five favorite words in the English language? I bet if you actually tried to figure that out, one of them would have to be the word “free.” I know it is for me.
Some of the definitions of free include: having no obligations (as to work) or commitments, able to act or be done as one wishes, and without cost or payment.
That last definition is the one we all definitely get excited about, especially when it comes to food.
Which is why I am sharing this no-brainer deal Wendy’s has put forth this week regarding their new Classic Chicken Sandwich and the fact that you can get not one, but two of them for FREE.
That’s right. This week when you order at the Wendy’s drive-thru or using their mobile app, you can get a free chicken sandwich with purchase. And then next week, you can do it all over again!
“We can’t wait for our fans to get their hands on the New Classic Chicken Sandwich which has the perfect crunch from breading and pickles paired with the juiciness and flavor of the fillet,” Chief Marketing Officer Carl Loredo said in a statement. “The Classic joins what customers have already come to know and love in spice and taste from Wendy’s via our Spicy Chicken and Pretzel Bacon Pub Chicken Sandwiches.”
Yep, order a salad, get a free Classic Chicken Sandwich. Order some fries, get a Classic Chicken Sandwich. Whatever you order this week and next will get you a free Classic Chicken Sandwich.
The new Classic Chicken Sandwich, normally $4.99, features a premium all-white meat chicken breast that is juicy and crispy, layered with mayo, a slice of tomato, lettuce, and pickles, all placed between a warm, premium toasted bun.
Not only that, all premium chicken fillets across Wendy’s chicken sandwich lineup, including the Bacon Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich, Asiago Ranch Chicken Club or the new Pretzel Bacon Pub Chicken Sandwich, will be replaced with the new-and-improved Classic fillet.
