Watch The Intense Trailer For Clint Eastwood’s ‘American Sniper,’ Featuring Bradley Cooper As American Hero Chris Kyle

I haven’t followed the ins and outs of Hollywood buzz very closely lately, so I had no idea Clint Eastwood was back in the director’s chair for this flick. Eastwood is the director behind a film adaptation of American Sniper, the autobiography of late Navy SEAL sniper/American hero Chris Kyle, who’s career includes more than 150 confirmed kills, making him the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. Bradley Cooper is in the leading role as Kyle, with Sienna Miller playing his wife.

Kyle, as you may recall, was shot and killed at a shooting range in Erath County, Texas by his fellow vet Marine Eddie Ray Routh, who he allegedly took to the range because he was suffering from PTSD. Kyle was honored with a memorial service at Cowboys Stadium and a nearly massive funeral procession to the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.

Kyle is an absolute badass. I’m so happy his story gets to be told, especially from a legend like Clint Eastwood. The first trailer will knock you on the floor. Can’t wait to see it.
