Homeless Youth Gives Miley Cyrus’ VMA Acceptance Speech

Miley Cyrus won the  Video of The Year Moon Man for “Wrecking Ball.” She let her date “Jesse” go up to the stage to accept the award, remaining in her seat. A former homeless runaway from Los Angeles, Jesse talked about being a runaway and raising awareness for runaway youth, especially in the LA area.

All in all, it was an interesting and rather endearing moment from the 2014 VMAs. Very Miley-esque.
