Despite getting snubbed at the 2016 Academy Awards, Straight Outta Compton is still on everyone’s mind in 2016. Especially the founding members of N.W.A.
Ice Cube was out promoting his new flick, Ride Along 2, and mentioned that a one-time reunion might not be out of the question, possibly at this year’s Coachella show. Ice Cube got the rumors started after his appearance last week on The Talk.
During his interview, Ice Cube talked about his upcoming performance at Coachella in April and hinted at a possible N.W.A. reunion in the works.
“I got some tricks up my sleeve. I can’t reveal it all,” he tells Kerry Washington. “But I’m trying to bring the members of N.W.A. together. Come with me on the stage. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A. Westside Connection. Everything I’ve been doing over the years.”
To put a cherry on that insanity sundae, Ice Cube is scheduled to perform on the same night as the reunited Guns N’ Roses. The 12-year-old inside me is losing his fucking mind right now.
