Spock’s Life Advice To A Teenage Girl Will Live Long And Prosper And Give You Chills

It’s a gravely sad day today for Star Trek fans. Leonard Nimoy a.k.a. Spock, the Science Officer of the USS Enterprise, passed away at the age of 83. Beloved by all, Nimoy truly lived long and prospered.

Buzzfeed dug up and incredible letter Nimoy wrote as Spock in 1968 from a Star Trek fan blog called My Star Trek Scrapbook. A girl wrote a letter to a magazine for teenagers called Fave about the difficulty of fitting in a school and Spock responded perfectly, bringing up his own problems as a half-Vulcan.

Even if you’re not a Trekie, it’s a fantastic read with immortal life wisdom.
