If you’re watching this SNL40 red carpet, you already know that the entire production is a load that should have been swallowed. No one is saying anything interesting AT ALL. It’s like one big circle jerk of comedians talking about how great other comedians are.
The one and only highlight of the SNL40 red carpet was Jim Carrey asking Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie where they were hiding Brian Williams. The comment made the Today Show hosts semi-uncomfortable but then Carrey cut the tension he created by telling them he’d have done the same thing Williams did. Because of course you tell people you were in the chopper that went down. That’s just common sense. Duh.
