Every aging millennial remembers just how awesome DuckTales was back in the day. Nothing like coming home from school, grabbing some Dunkaroos and a Capri Sun and watching Huey, Dewey and Louie go on their adventures with Scrooge McDuck, certified rich baller. Disney is now planning on bringing the show back, with TMZ reporting it’s going to make a huge merch push when the animated series returns:
“DuckTales” filed trademark paperwork … setting Disney up to produce themed kids’ juices, soft drinks, toys, games, books and all other playthings. Translation — expect to see the modern versions of Huey, Dewey and Louie on a crapload of merchandise very soon.
If this means more versions of the greatest cartoon theme song ever made, sign me up.
