Nickelback Has The Perfect Burn For People Who Still Use Nickelback Jokes

Nickelback has existed as a band since 1995, selling over 50 million albums worldwide. Jokes about the band and their Tap Out t-shirt-wearing fanbase have existed for almost as long, inspiring jesting crimes against humanity charges in Australia, apps that troll ex-girlfriends, studies about why everyone hates them, and marathon musical torture sessions for charity.

Is the Nickelback hate all played out? According to Nickelback, yes. Over the weekend the two-person UK band Royal Blood tried to troll the group with some political jokes on Twitter:

Nickelback wasn’t having it, however, and executed the perfect burn:

Though I can happily live the rest of my life never hearing “Photograph” again, you have to hand it to them — Boom, got ’em. RIP Nickelback jokes.
