Man wearing Jack Archer shorts and polo

I’m a shorts guy. Always have been, always will be. I don’t care if you’re not. I’ve worn shorts basically every day for the last five years because it just feels better. I like the breeze on my shins. Simpler. Freer. Like I’m always five minutes away from a cornhole tourney or a deep conversation with a gas station clerk about energy drinks.

A couple of weeks ago, I hauled five trash bags of old clothes to Goodwill. It was time. Felt great to Marie Kondo some clothes. Most of them were deadbeat shorts I’d outgrown,  both literally and spiritually. There are other brands I used to swear by, but the biggest upgrade I’ve made lately?

Jack Archer’s Jetsetter Tech Shorts, available for $99 on JackArcher.com.

Dress Like You Accidentally Have Plans

Paired with their brand new Jack Archer Tech Polo, I’ve got what I now call my official summer uniform.

The Tech Polo’s got that rare combo of effortlessness and intention—it looks sharp without trying. It’s got a golf-course vibe, but not in a “dad at the clubhouse” way. More like, if you happened to have a tee time, you’d be perfectly dressed—and still good to go for drinks after. It also happens to pair ridiculously well with Nike’s Pink Bloom collection, including those viral shoes that keep selling out. The sleeves hit just right, the back seam subtly straightens you out, and the structured collar stays crisp all day, even after you’ve sweat through a Wiffle ball game and a happy hour. It’s breathable, it’s tailored, and yeah, it somehow makes me feel like I’ve got my life together. Even when I definitely don’t.

But let’s get back to the Jack Archer’s Jetsetter Tech Shorts. These are the shorts you keep on top of your shorts drawer. Therefore, they are NOT your “grab whatever’s clean” shorts. Jetsetters are like that one friend who’s always two steps ahead: booked the Airbnb, packed the cooler, already found the best tacos in town.

These Are Not Your Laundry-Day Shorts

Jack Archer’s Jetsetter Tech Shorts are made from premium Japanese Rebound™ fabric (fancy because it is), they’re soft, lightweight, and durable as hell. Perfect for guys who move fast and occasionally spill stuff. Aka, me (pictured above).

These puppies are wrinkle-free, stain-repellent, anti-odor, anti-ball-crush (can I get a hell yeah? hell yeah), and somehow still flattering. No pinching, no sagging. Just a clean, consistent fit that makes my dad-bod feel suspiciously athletic.

The 7” inseam on the Jack Archer Jetsetter Tech Shorts is money. I can’t stand shorts that hit the knee, but I’m not trying to cosplay as a 1970s track star either. These just look… right. Like Burt Reynolds in a lawn chair or Bond by the beach bar.

Here’s the kicker: they still look brand new.

So, yeah. Go grab a pair. Or the three-pack. Jetsetter Tech Shorts are going to get serious mileage. They make life easier. And somehow, you cooler.

Summer’s too short for bad shorts and cheap polos.
