Here’s one we all should have thought of back when we were in school: accuse your teacher of a war crime for violating the Geneva Conventions.

Then again, when I was 11 I was more concerned with baseball statistics and a burgeoning interest in the girl two seats in front of me.

Obviously Mason Cross, the father of 11-year-old Ava, has a smarter than average child on his hands because (a) she knows what the Geneva Conventions are and (b) knows how to use that knowledge to take down her teacher for the punishments she’s been doling out.

Check this out. When asked “things my teacher(s) can do better” Ava went and dropped this on her teacher…

That reads, “Not use collective punishment as it is not fair on the many people who did nothing and under the 1949 [Geneva] Conventions it is a war crime.”

This is how I imagine Ava looked after throwing down that wicked answer…

As you can see from Mason’s tweet, he said, “Not sure if I should ground her or buy her ice cream…”

Don’t worry, Mason, Twitter knows EXACTLY what you should do for Ava.

Seriously.

And just in case anyone was worried…
