A couple years ago I blogged this insane video of a worker climbing a 1700-foot TV tower with a GoPro strapped to his head. That was pretty badass, but this is even cooler. Even though it’s inactive, KDLT TV tower in South Dakota is one of the tallest structures in the United States. A couple of folks at a drone video company filmed tower climber Kevin Schmidt making the climb to the very top of the 1500-foot analog broadcast antenna. The reason? To change a lightbulb so planes don’t run into it.

While Schmidt’s up there, he snaps a selfie. When you have the massive cojones to climb 1500-feet into the sky, you can do whatever the fuck you want.

Best. Facebook. Profile. Pic. EVER.

Hope you don’t have vertigo. The video seriously started to make my palms sweat, especially with the overhead shots.
