There’s a sinister iPhone scam that criminals are pulling at Apple Stores. It targets the poor and designed to ruin your life by destroying your credit. I feel like this should be common sense, but if anyone ever offers you $200 to go buy a new iPhone at the Apple Store… Uh…. Don’t take it. It’s apparently part of a deliberate scheme involving unlocking these devices and selling them abroad. As an investigative journalist in Denver found out, one scumbag is doing it by targeting the poor and down-on-their-luck who might need the cash the most.
