Earlier tonight protesters shut down a Donald Trump rally at UIC pavilion in Chicago. Paul did an excellent recap of the mayhem that unfolded inside and outside the event, so please read that first.
After Trump’s rally was canceled, a number of protesters gathered to chant the refrain from Kendrick Lamar’s song “Alright,” a powerful protest song off To Pimp A Butterfly. Fellow South-Central L.A. musician Kamasi Washington holds down the sax on the track.
