Here’s the problem with social media: Sure, it connects people. Sure, our brains are inundated with more information by the second than humans 100 years ago could ever dream over. Sure, it helps people share ideas and content, giving power to voice.
BUT, it also enables some serious whining. Today on OUTRAGE Twitter, a few select voices are ticked because The Daily Show sent Tomi Lahren some post-show cupcakes. This has forced Trevor Noah to issue a statement:

But sources close to the situation tell us … Lahren’s peeps got an email from Noah’s peeps asking for her studio’s address because they simply wanted to send her a thank you gift. We’re told she got the cupcakes and a card … which was signed by “The Daily Show” — not Trevor Noah.
Wouldn’t be another day in The Republic without having something to get mad about on the Internet.
I want @Trevornoah to send me cupcakes because of how angry he made me when sending Tomi Lahren, an actual asshole, cupcakes.
