Conversations in New York City can get pretty tedious. If you’re not talking about where you went to college, your favorite place to brunch, or what your career is, you’re talking about the great deal you got on an apartment via one connection or another. Like talking about the weather, talking about rent is just a part of life $1000 doesn’t really get you anything but a cramped roommate share in NYC these days. Because it’s fun to dream of SPACE — beautiful, beautiful space — Buzzfeed made a fun little video breaking down how much space you get for $1000 a month all over the country.
