Every time I see a video like this I thank my lucky Stars & Stripes that cell phone cameras weren’t prevalent at the time I had my wisdom teeth removed. I remember going back for my follow-up appointment and the dentist who performed my surgery ribbed me about how when they cranked up the drugs that knock you out I told them something along the lines of ‘you’ll have to try harder than that, pussy, give me everything you’ve got’.
I have no memory of this, thankfully, so I don’t feel all that bad about challenging the doctor to get me as fucked up as humanly possible. And like I said before, I’m always thankful cell phone cameras didn’t really exist anytime I see one of these videos of someone all cranked up after surgery. I think I got my wisdom teeth out in 2003 or 2004, so I just missed the meteoric rise of the iPhone and subsequent YouTube phenomenon of sharing these videos.
