Adam Sandler and Netflix have a smash hit with Happy Gilmore 2 which became the most-watched opening for a film on Netflix yet. And for good reason, it’s funny!
In addition to capturing all of the nostalgia from the first film, there are a ton of Happy Gilmore 2 cameos that caught everyone’s attention. In fact, it was a veritable cameo-fast throughout the entire film.
Below, we take a look at the 30 best cameos from Happy Gilmore 2. These cameos include the most unexpected athletes on the screen, comedians, celebrities, and more.
Who were you most surprised to see pop up on screen? Let us know in the comments!

Netflix
Showing up to play the son of Mr. Larson, the character from the original Happy Gilmore that Happy had struck in the head with a nail gun, is former NBA star Boban Marjanovic who was featured throughout the movie and not just a one-off scene. You love to see it.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Eminem

Netflix
I think it is safe to say that nobody could’ve anticipated Eminem showing up in Happy Gilmore 2 for a cameo but for those paying close attention to the Sandman’s career it should not have come as a major shock. Eminem has previously appeared in Adam Sandler’s Funny People for a cameo as himself.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Travis Kelce

Netflix
This was probably the least best-kept secret among all the Happy Gilmore 2 cameos. Travis Kelce’s cameo was prominent, he also had Adam Sandler on his New Heights podcast to coincide with the film’s release.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Bad Bunny

Netflix
It seems unfair to call Bad Bunny a ‘cameo’ because he played such a prominent role in Happy Gilmore 2 but SNL‘s Marcello was a proper cameo with fewer lines.
Bad Bunny crushed it. There’s no doubt about that. But I can’t help to shake the feeling that he just played a caddie version of John Turturro’s butler in Mr. Deeds, same mannerisms and humor throughout.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Guy Fieri

Netflix
Guy Fieri showed up near the conclusion of the film as an announcer in the traditional vs. ‘new golf’ competition. He was there to represent everything that isn’t normal about golf and honestly, he was perfectly cast for that cameo.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Scottie Scheffler

Netflix
World #1 golfer Scottie Scheffler played himself, and he was all over the movie. He was featured early on and later. And he leaned into the self-effacing humor with this jail scene, a nod to Scheffler getting arrested at the PGA Championship in Louisville after a misunderstanding with the officers that led to him being behind bars before Round 2.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Rory, Brooks, Bryson, And More Scottie

Netflix
The world’s best golfers were featured prominently throughout Happy Gilmore 2, all playing themselves. It was interesting to see former FSU golfer Brooks Koepka and his LIV Golf Tour colleague Bryson DeChambeau in the movie competing against an upstart league that was clearly meant to represent LIV Golf. It was as if they were competing against themselves.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Will Zalatoris

Netflix
PGA Tour star Will Zalatoris has always bore a striking resemblance to Happy’s caddie in the first film with their unique blonde hair and haircuts. Will leaned into and played both himself and that caddie, having grown up and made the PGA Tour himself.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Kevin James, Chris Chelios, and Sean Avery

Netflix
Kevin James showing up for a cameo wasn’t surprising at all, he’s a regular fixture in Adam Sandler’s films. However, seeing NHL legends Chris Chelios and Sean Avery flanking him as goons came as quite the shock to anyone that picked up on them.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Jack Nicklaus

Netflix
Of all the golf cameos, I think Jack Nicklaus was the one I least expected. I would have expected to see Tiger Woods in the film before Jack but it was great to see the Golden Bear show up for the boys.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Post Malone

Netflix
Post Malone made a Happy Gilmore 2 appearance and it worked. Does he have any connection to golf? Absolutely not. But Postie is omnipresent in the celebrity world and he fit right in alongside the other cameos.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Paige Spiranac

Netflix
Former pro golfer and current golf influencer Paige Spiranac made a cameo as a golf equipment salesperson. She was one of the rare cameos of well-know people within the golf community that didn’t play themselves.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Reggie Bush

Netflix
Reggie Bush showed up in Happy Gilmore 2 to play an identity confused golfer who goes by the name 8-Ball, and was a star on the other league taking on traditional golf. This was one of the cameos that nobody saw coming.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Nelly Korda

Netflix
World #1 ranked women’s golfer Nelly Korda made an appearance on the couch alongside Tim Herlihy, who co-wrote Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler. Tim’s son was also in the film…
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Martin Herlihy and Margaret Qualley

Netflix
Tim’s son Martin Herlihy, a star on Saturday Night Live, showed up in Happy Gilmore 2 alongside Margaret Qualley. They were alongside another cameo, Eric Andre, during Happy’s first round of rediscovering his golf game.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Dan Patrick

Netflix
Dan Patrick made an appearance as himself and he crushed it. But why wouldn’t he? He was playing himself after all.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: John Daly

Netflix
Golf legend John Daly was a regular fixture throughout the film. He was living in Happy Gilmore’s garage, constantly spraying stuff into his mouth, and looking more like Santa Claus than he ever has.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Jon Lovitz

Netflix
A few of Adam Sandler’s former Saturday Night Live co-stars appeared in the film, among them was Jon Lovitz. We haven’t seen much from Lovitz in recent years so it was nice to to see him on screen as a cranky golfer at the range.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Xander and Collin

Netflix
A few more of the A-List golfers to appear in the film were Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele, two of the biggest names on the PGA Tour.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Kid Cudi

Netflix
I can’t say that I expected to see rapper Kid Cudi show up in Happy Gilmore 2. Eagle eyed watchers will notice another cameo over his left shoulder (your right) too.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Kelsey Plum and Andrew Watt

Netflix
This was indeed an unexpected cameo and pairing: WNBA superstar Kelsey Plum and singer/songwriter Andrew Watt together. What exactly brought the director to put them together in this scene for a cameo? Who knows!
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Eric Andre

Netflix
Comedian Eric Andre had a prominent cameo role in the film as Happy Gilmore’s playing partner in the round where Happy rediscovers golf for the first time after giving the game up. That entire scene was off the rails.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Lavell Crawford

Netflix
Another comedian cameo was Lavell Crawford who played the son of Chubbs, Happy’s former golf coach and the man who taught him to go to ‘his happy place’ when putting. Like Chubbs, his son also had a wooden hand.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: Maxwell Jacob Friedman

Netflix
This cameo flew under the radar for a lot of people but wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman made an appearance. The All Elite Wrestling star has also appeared in 2023’s The Iron Claw.
Best 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameos: So Many Others!

Netflix
In total, there were over 70 cameos in Happy Gilmore 2, too many to mention here in individual slides. Steve Buscemi was among them.
Others to make an appearance were Sean Evans, Alix Earle, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler’s wife and daughters, Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims, Bubba Watson, Tony Finau, Keegan Bradley, Nancy Lopez, Kevin Nealon, Haley Joel Osment, Robert Smigel, Chris Berman, Bobby Smith, Andrew Santino, Treasure Wilson, Stephen A. Smith, Cam’Ron, Ken Jennings, Verne Lundquist, Rob Schneider, Jim Gray, Ed Kelce, and more!
