Former LSU guard Alexis Morris has appeared to have issues with her former Tigers teammate Angel Reese for awhile. And now Morris is accusing the Chicago Sky forward of getting her blackballed from signing with the Unrivaled basketball league.

The accusations came amidst numerous comments Morris made about Reese during a recent live-stream on TikTok. They were brought to light by an Angel Reese fan on X who watched the video, then wrote, “That mentally unstable pg really just said angel blackballed her from unrivaled.”

During the live-stream, Alexis Morris not only alleged that Angel Reese had a hand in getting her blackballed from Unrivaled, she also was adamant that she should have been named the Most Outstanding Player during LSU’s title-winning run of 2023.

“I carried her a– … They robbed me of the Most Outstanding Player cause that s— was already written in bold,” said Morris. “Y’all damn know I was the Most Outstanding Player in 2023.”

Morris then compared Angel Reese saying Caitlin Clark isn’t the only reason fans watch the WNBA to her saying Angel Reese wasn’t the Most Outstanding Player in 2023.

“What’s the difference?” she asked, then added, “Magic Johnson said it, the Most Outstanding Player was neither Angel Reese nor Caitlin Clark, it was Alexis Morris.”

Whether Alexis Morris should have won Most Outstanding Player during the 2023 NCAA women’s basketball tournament can certainly be debated. Morris averaged 16.8 points and 3.8 assists, while Angel Reese averaged 21.3 points, 15.2 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks, there is no argument about whose basketball career has been better since each of them left LSU.

Morris, who played for four different colleges (Baylor, Rutgers, Texas A&M, and LSU), was selected in the second round of the 2023 WNBA draft, 22nd overall, by the Connecticut Sun, has never played in a WNBA game. After being waived by the Sun in training camp, Morris signed with a Romanian team, then with Ilkem Yapi Tarsus of the Turkish women’s Super League. Unfortunately, she still had a contract with the Romanian team, who she decided to not play for due to the lower level of talent on the team. She then signed a contract to play for Saint-Amand Hainaut Basket in France, but that didn’t work out. Eventually, Morris hooked on with the Harlem Globetrotters, then played in six games with Grindavík of the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild kvenna.

Angel Reese, on the other hand, made the WNBA All-Rookie Team, is a two-time WNBA All-Star, won the Unrivaled championship with the Rose Basketball Club, and was named the Unrivaled Defensive Player of the Year.
