Chicago Sky superstar Angel Reese did little to quell speculation that she has played her last game for the franchise when she opted to skip the team’s exit interviews.
Reese, as well as teammates Courtney Vandersloot and Ariel Atkins missed the team’s initial post-season interviews. Initially, the organization informed members of the media that all three would conduct their exit interviews at a later date, but the team later stated that none of the three would meet with the media.
Front Office Sports reporter @AnnieCostabile (right tag this time!) on the odds Angel Reese will be back with the Sky next season and her take on the comments that got Reese in hot water with her team and teammates.

Angel Reese Doesn’t Want To Play For The Chicago Sky Anymore
The change in plans only furthered rumors about Reese’s exit from Chicago. The two-time WNBA All-Star found herself in hot water after an interview where she put down multiple teammates and suggested that she could force her way to another team.
“I’m not settling for the same s— we did this year,” she told the Chicago Tribune. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a non-negotiable for me.”
“I’m willing and wanting to play with the best,” Reese added “And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason. So it’s going to be very, very important this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best because we can’t settle for what we have this year.”
She later added fuel to the fire when she used a fan wearing a “Free Angel” shirt to send a message to the team, moving the fan into her own personal courtside seats.
At this point, it seems abundantly clear that the relationship between Reese and the Chicago Sky organization is beyond repair. The only question now is where she ends up next and what Chicago can get in return.
