There’s no denying Anthony Richardson’s immense talent that led to the Colts taking him fourth-overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. But, it’s clearly not working out.

Richardson played one of the least efficient halves in the history in the history of the NFL on Sunday, and it’s evident that he’s nowhere near good enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL at this point.

Richardson came into Sunday’s game completing a terrible 48.5% of his passes so far this season. That number is somehow going to go down after a disastrous half against the Texans.

Richardson actually threw a touchdown pass in the half, but there wasn’t anything else good. Take a look at this stat line.

Yes, 2/15. That’s a completion percentage of 13.33%. Simply awful.

Actually watching it was even worse than the stat line. This interception at the end of the half completely changed the complexion of the game.

Richardson left the game in the second half, seemingly taking himself out of the game.

That’s incredibly embarrassing. If the Colts want to make the playoffs, they have to play Joe Flacco.
