The vast majority of NFL fans are sick and tired of seeing the Patriots dominate the league year after year, and as a result, plenty of people weren’t exactly thrilled when New England signed Antonio Brown shortly after he was released by the Raiders.

However, there was one person who was particularly amped with that development: Tom Brady, who got a much-needed offensive weapon and welcomed the wide receiver to the team with open arms by offering to let him crash with him and Gisele until he found a place to settle down.

As we all know by now, things didn’t exactly work out as planned for all parties involved, as Brown quickly found himself at the receiving end of multiple sexual misconduct allegations and was eventually released by the team after playing a single game—much to the chagrin of Brady, who initially sidestepped questions concerning the situation but was reportedly unhappy with Robert Kraft’s decision to cut the embattled player lose.

Brown initially thanked the Patriots for giving him an opportunity before deciding it would be a good idea to throw some shade at Kraft over the owner’s massage parlor scandal, and while he would eventually apologize, he decided to reverse course this week and essentially snuffed out the possibility of returning to New England when he fired another shot.

As a result, we probably won’t see Brady and Brown teaming up at any point in the near (or far) future but it would appear TB12’s former teammate is having trouble letting go of the past, as he hopped on Instagram on Thursday night to post an old picture he and the legendary quarterback took together.

Hopefully the two of them can find some time to grab some avocado ice cream together and reflect upon the good ol’ days.
