The Atlanta Falcons started the 2018 season the same way they ended the 2017 season.
During tonight’s season opening game betweeh the Falcons and the Eagles, Atlanta was able to drive down the field in their opening possession but unfortunately they turned it over on downs on the 1-yard line when they decided to go for it instead of kicking the field goal.

Of course The Falcons lost last year’s playoff game against the Eagles when they were stopped on fourth down in the red zone.

The Internet was quick to mock the Falcons for their early struggles.
The Falcons were a terrible Red Zone team last year. They just had 4 straight plays inside the 5 and had Julio Jones ON THE BENCH FOR ALL 4. Sarkisian, what you doing???

Falcons red zone offense picking up where it left off

Falcons talk about getting Julio more involved in the red zone, is immediately absent the first time they hit the red zone🧐

Falcons you’ve got to solve these red zone issued. Kicking shorts fgs is a sure fire way to lose a gm.

The Atlanta Falcons not using Julio in the red zone would be like Atlanta United not practicing penalty kicks before a playoff game.
