One reporter really wanted to get to the bottom of Baker Mayfield Tommy DeVito’s celebration. On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Bucs faced off against the NY Giants at MetLife Stadium.
During the game, Mayfield busted out the Tommy DeVito Italian hand gesture celebration after a touchdown run.
Oh my. Baker Mayfield just scored a TD and made sure all #Giants fans saw him doing the Tommy DeVito celebration.

In his postgame press conference, Mayfield spoke about the celebration, but one reporter continued to awkwardly ask questions about it, which led to an awkward exchange.
Baker Mayfield: “Tribute to Tommy, yeah. He’s a good dude, he’s got swag.
Reporter: “Who came up with that?
Mayfield: “Oh I have no idea, I’ve just seen him do it.”
Reporter: “Whose idea was it for you to do that, and when did you know that you were going to do it?”
Mayfield: “Most of the time I don’t know what I’m going to do. It was spontaneous.”
Reporter: “Are you Italian by chance?”
Mayfield: “I haven’t done a 23 and me, but I don’t know.”
“Tribute to Tommy, yeah. He’s a good dude, he’s got swag.”
