It’s nearly two years since the Cleveland Browns have won the game but they’ve finally done it. Before tonight’s game, the Browns hadn’t won a game since they beat the then-San Diego Chargers on Christmas Eve in 2016, but with Baker Mayfield leading the way they finally were able to get over the hump.
The Browns get their first win since December 24, 2016, a span of 635 days.
Baker Mayfield joins John Elway, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, and Jeff George as the only rookie QBs taken first overall to appear in a 14-point comeback win.

Mayfield, who replaced an injured Tyrod Taylor around halftime, finished his first regular season debut with 17 completions on 23 attempts for 198 yards and lead his team to a second half comeback win against the Jets.
The Internet was happy for Mayfield and the Browns.
That possum needs to be at every Browns game from now on.
