Three years or so ago, Bill Belichick‘s reputation was that of the most successful head coach NFL history, who set records that may well never be touched.
And while the accomplishments still hold true three years later, Belichick’s current reputation is that of a failed college football coach who is being weirdly controlled by his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
With each passing week, it seems more embarrassing news about Hudson and her control over the 73-year-old head coach comes out.
Jen Belichick Is Absolutely Sick Of Jordon Hudson
And now, according to a report from the New York Post, Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jen has finally reached her breaking point.
The report claims that Jen Belichick went on a rant directed at Hudson following North Carolina’s 20-15 loss to ACC bottom-feeder Stanford on Nov. 8.
“Jen screamed all Jordon ‘does is control s–t’ — before she called Bill’s significant other ‘bats–t crazy.,’” the report claims. “At one point, sources said Jen told the room — which included Jen’s husband, UNC defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, Bill, Hudson and multiple others — that she didn’t care if her eruption resulted in Steve’s termination or Bill disowning her.
“Jen yelled that Jordon was ‘f–king twisting’ Bill’s brain, before she urged the six-time Super Bowl champion to ‘wake up.’ Sources said she went on to issue an ultimatum to Bill, ‘You choose your family or you choose’ Hudson.”
Listen, that may seem harsh. But it’s hard to argue with her facts. Since associating with Hudson, Belichick’s coaching career has been nothing short of a farce.
Maybe that happens with or without Hudson by his side. But it sure doesn’t appear that she’s helping, and good on Jen Belichick for being the one person close to Bill who seems brave enough to speak up.
Only time will tell if he listens. But it was a message he needed to hear.
