Former New England Patriots head coach and current University of North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick is seemingly aware of the comments made about his relationship with model Jordon Hudson. Specifically, Belichick is aware of being called a “predator.”
In a recent report by The Athletic, detailing how Bill Belichick immediately had Jordon Hudson installed on official UNC email chains, it was revealed that the 73-year-old has heard and seen people (on social media) calling him a “predator” for dating Hudson.
Bill Belichick is 73-years-old, while Hudson is 24 years old having been born on March 5, 2001 — she was not even six-months old when September 11 happened. Hudson is so young, in fact, that Belichick was still about a year away from winning his FIRST Super Bowl title.
“I cannot believe that UNC would support my being called a ‘predator,'” Belichick said on an email chain in mid-February, according to The Athletic.
Paint that mental image in your mind for a second: a 50-year-old Bill Belichick, pencil-in-ear, coffee-in-hand, watching tape to prep for the 2001 NFL Draft while Jordon Hudson was being delivered in the NICU (he took Hall of Famer Richard Seymour in the first round, so you nailed that one, Bill!).
Granted, Hudson is more than a grown adult and is well within her rights to do whatever the hell she wants, so, fair play. She’s not the first woman to “fall in love” with a man five decades older than her and she certainly won’t be the last.
Unfortunately for Belichick, being called a “predator” is simply par for the course when you date someone that much younger than yourself. Just to put their age gap into context, Belichick was a 49-year-old and in the second year of being head coach of the New England Patriots when Hudson was born in March 2001.
Luckily for Belichick, he shouldn’t have to be too worried about Hudson remaining faithful while the pair are at UNC in Chapel Hill, as she’s clearly more interested lifestyle and financial security than she is youth, looks, or personality — as it can be argued that Belichick has none of those latter three things and are all college kids, who are technically her peers, have to offer a woman like her.
Belichick will take charge of his first game as head coach of the UNC Tar Heels when they take on the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs on Monday, September 1.
