Bill Belichick’s ex-girlfriend Linda Holliday fired back at those who think she was shading the former New England Patriots head coach with her Kill Bill-themed Halloween costume.
Holliday made news earlier this week when a photo of her dressed up as Uma Thurman’s character in the Kill Bill movies was shared on the GoJo and Golic show.
“This is not a subtle costume at all!” Mike Golic, Sr. said about the look.
“As subtle as a sledgehammer!” his son, Mike Golic, Jr. added.
Many assumed, like the Golics, that Linda Holliday’s Halloween costume was a direct shot at her former partner of 16 years. Especially now that the 72-year-old Belichick is dating a woman 48 years younger than him, 24-year-old former cheerleader Jordan Hudson.
While not denying that her costume was a shot at Bill Belichick, Holliday did respond to those who assumed that it was on her Instagram Story.
At first, Linda Holliday shared an inspirational quote on her story.
“A sense of humor helps us get through the dull times, cope with the difficult times, enjoy the good times and manage the scary times,” she wrote.
Later, she would share another message on her Instagram Story that was more to the point, but still didn’t directly deny what many saw as shade being tossed at The Hoodie.
“Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING?” Holliday wrote. “Ya’ll would have never survived in the Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, etc, etc days … shoot you wouldn’t survive the late night talk’s [sic] shows like Jay Leno or David Lettermen [sic].
“For the love of God, laugh a little. Lighten up. Everything isn’t an attack…”
Whether Bill Belichick was in on the joke, or even knows that Holliday wore the Kill Bill costume over the weekend is unknown.
Last week, Belichick showed his support on Instagram for his girlfriend Jordon Hudson after she got into a dust-up her with radio host Winnie Akoury of “Billy & Lisa in the Morning” on Kiss 108, who was denigrating her alma mater’s cheerleading program.
